SMT’s ultra-pure ClO₂ effectively minimizes downtime for diagnostic equipment such as chemistry, immunoassay, and hematology analyzers by decontaminating and stripping organic matter from internal fluidic lines. Because ClO₂ has no ionic charge, it quickly rinses from the system, usually in a single flush. Chlorine dioxide is also very effective at removing bioslime, reducing recontamination and increasing time between decon cycles. Additionally, a neutral pH ensures the highest levels of material compatibility, minimizing effect on sensitive equipment.
